Sector Benchmarking
Corporate Benchmarking Ltd (the company behind sheiiba) builds and runs bespoke safety benchmarking programmes for industry sectors.
Participating companies enter accident and ill health data into an online form each month. The data is divided by cause and type
and can by split into different employee groups.
Companies can build detailed charts of their own and other companies' performance in order to make comparisons with others.
Consolidated results can also be generated for the industry as a whole.
Data can be viewed in graphic or tabular format as fixed periods, rolling years, time spans (up to 12 quarters or years.)
Individual columns in a bar chart can be clicked on to produce pie charts showing accident causes by percentage.
The system is currently in use for 14 UK water utilities under Water UK. However it has cross industry capability and can be
readily adapted to meet the requirements of other sectors.
